Watch this quick “rough-cut” video from Brian Zeigler about what God has been up to in his life, what God has been saying to him, and what exactly he is doing about it. Brian Ziegler, Jason Lantz, Dave Kurzen, Cory Hunka, and Derek Urey are currently in Peru embarking on an epic climb of Mount Machu Picchu to raise money for impoverished children within the Canton area and around the world.

Check back in weeks to come for a part two documentary of what God is up to in Brian’s life, and stories from the climb in Peru.

Extension Course: “Spiritualities: A Person’s Centered View of Spiritual Gifts” w/ John Geib and Brent Barger on Wednesday, 7pm @ Christ Church

LoveCanton Potluck: Sunday, 5pm in the basement @ Church of the Savior
LoveCanton Celebration: Sunday, 6pm in the sanctuary @ Church of the Savior; special guest speaker Alex Absalom.
Alex has led churches in England and the US that focus on Missional Communities (what we call Villages) for over 20 years. He has a wealth of experience and is coming this weekend to specifically talk to LoveCanton about what it means to be missionaries to our city.

“The purpose of the Peace Day is to draw attention to the problem of violence in Canton and to inspire Christian peacemakers to pray and love both sides of the problem (both the victims of violence and the ones who are caught up and trapped in the cycles of violence). We hope to sound the alarm and draw together local churches and local people. Though the party will only last one day, we hope that through the party we can ignite a movement that reaches the entire city, pours into every alley, and transforms hearts.”

Earth day event at Nimisilla Park Saturday May 8 at 10:00am
This is an event that Love Canton is partnering with and would love as many folks to come out as possible. Visit and participate in the B-Earth Day celebration as we will be meeting to help clean, plant flowers, share in a CommUnity picnic and drum circle (bring covered dish/snacks and instruments to share), and create Peace Tiles to exchange with friends at home and across the seas.
