My name is Edy Herrera. I was born in Mexico and moved with my family to the United States at age 7. I spent my middle school years in North Carolina and then in High School my family moved to Ridgeway, Virginia where My parents now lead a Hispanic Church. My wife Nikki and I met while attending Malone University. At Malone, I met Jason Lantz who was launching LoveCanton. I became involved in Love Canton by working alongside Jason coordinating clean up days and hot dog nights at Refuge of Hope. After college graduation Nikki and I moved to Virginia beach where I studied in the Divinity school at Regent University and Nicole worked as an RN at a local hospital. I graduated with a Masters degree in Theology in 2014, and soon after took on the assignment to be pastor of LoveCanton in the heart of the city. Nicole and I live in Canton with our young son, our Doberman Lexi, and a cat named Puffin. I have a heart to see God move in this City.
