Extensions are relational teaching courses offered 2-3 times throughout the year.  they will last about 6-10 weeks and are great places to grow in our understanding of the Bible and a relationship with Jesus in community.

Spiritualities/Spiritual Gifts

Dr. John David Geib, Dean of The Logos Institute and Brent Barger, a pastor with Love Canton Church will teach a course on “Spiritualities: A Person’s Centered View of Spiritual Gifts” on 7 Wednesdays, 7:00pm-8:30 pm, June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and July 7, 14 and 21. The course will be held at Christ Church at 530 Tuscarawas Street West, Canton, OH 44702 in their newly remodeled Westminster Hall.

The Logos Institute is a 501-C not-for-profit educational institute that offers serious continuing education to learners and students of all levels and ages.

Tuition for the course for Love Canton folks is $30.00 or $50.00 for couples taking the course together. Scholarship monies are available for those who need financial assistance. No student will be turned away for lack of finances.

The course will focus on the different kinds of gifts, different kinds of service, and different kinds of workings that are all accomplished by the same Spirit, Lord and God. Instead of viewing these gifts as impersonal things the course will focus on the understanding that these spiritual gifts are just the supernatural and normative way God manifests through yielded persons.
